Short-Term Restorative Care (STRC) is a specialised program designed to help older adults regain strength, confidence, and independence after a health setback. Our team works closely with each client to support a safe return to daily living. We focus on:
• Time-limited, person-centred care that supports recovery and prevents decline.
• Gentle, guided programs to restore mobility, balance, and daily living skills.
• Support with personal goals such as walking safely, dressing independently, or managing tasks at home.
• A caring, multidisciplinary team including physiotherapists and occupational therapists.
• Prescription and training in the use of assistive devices and gait aids to enhance safety and mobility.
• Encouragement to stay active, independent, and connected to the community.
